Macarons: a word we can't pronounce, a dessert we love

Jboy: Do you like Oreo's? Do you like Peak Freens? Well... that shit don't got nothing on this! NOTHING!

One day J.G and I decided to try out La Bamboche near Yonge and Eglinton and we were blown away. Immediately after taking my first bite, I taunted Jgirl. She was not impressed. Crispy crust, spongey cake, and GENEROUS filling. So good despite the knee jerking $2.50 per macaron.

Word of advice, don't waste your money with other bakeries, they just don't compare with this Japanese/French take on macarons. Don't waste your money on other places (they typically range from $1-$2.25). I guess you get what you pay for.

Favourite flavor: Caramel and Sea Salt

JGirl: There was no taunting.

Best in the city. Nadege, Petite Thuet (dry, crumbly and tasted a week old) and  Morocco can't  compete. Wish I had a box in front of me right now *drool*

Favourite flavor: Espresso, Mango Greentea, Cassis

Other flavours:
Yuzu (japanese citrus)
Olive oil
Pastachio
Cassis

Wines for the beginner in you!
